As you all know, seasonal camps are a part of after-school life at KidSmart Academy. Every camp, every year, is a journey full of learning, fun, and lifelong memories. The fall camp 2025 was no exception. This autumn, we experienced farm life, learned scratch coding, and picked up on robotics, Legos, drawing, painting, and practical science, along with our children. The camp went even better than expected, thanks to all the children who participated and had a keen interest in all t he activities we had in store for them:

To all those who couldn’t attend the camp, and to all the parents who are planning to enroll their children at KidSmart Academy, here’s what we learned at the fall camp 2025. This is just a glimpse of what your little ones can expect from us.  

1. About Farm Life

To begin with the highlights from the fall camp 2025, here’s how the field trip to Lemos Farm went. To spark their curiosity, we had been telling the children all about farm life and the Lemos Farm, even before the camp began. Along the way to the trip, too, we had fun clapping and singing with joy. As soon as we reached there, we and the kids became full of wonder at the beauty of the place. Fresh air, greenery, pony rides, and giant pumpkins are only some of the farm life experiences we had. Overall, every child learned something new and had lots of things to share after we returned. It was satisfactory.  

2. Coding

This year, we and our kids had our hands at coding. Lots of it. We had thought that the children would enjoy scratch or block coding. However, we never thought that the kids would fall in love with this fun-learning activity. Especially, older kids and the new generation of children. All in all, every kid learned to code something useful and had hours of fun making games and cartoons. To conclude, they now have a skill that they can build a career around if they continue to further learn and advance their talent in it as they grow.   

3. Robotics

Next in the fall camp 2025 highlights is robotics. It’s something that our children love so much that we have no choice but to bring it back to every new camp. To revise, this game involves making and coding big and small robots with every child’s favorite, LEGO. To be honest, this was challenging for the kids, and some even got frustrated. However, they never gave up and eventually won. This proves how we always inspire children to keep doing their best and never lose hope.

4. Drawing & Painting

All we can say is that at the end of learning new art techniques, we ended up with children who were smiling, proud, and had colorful hands. We had lots of laughter, learning, and cackles during this activity. 

5. Practical Science 

Children love making slime and extracting colors from leaves. So, mad science was back and even bigger than before. The children discovered how science works in the real world and had a blast doing various fun experiments. So did we.
